Software Developer

Shujaat Bidar

I build products end-to-end — the app people use and the systems that keep it running — and I make sure they hold up once real users are on them.

About

A bit about me.

I studied Computer Science at Wilfrid Laurier University, then spent the years since moving between building products, writing the code behind them, and running the systems that keep them online.

As a co-founder of Ottomotives, I led product as CPO and helped build our React Native app, including a quoting system that had to update prices in real time. At Peaceworks Technology Solutions, I moved further into the infrastructure itself: writing C#, Python, and TypeScript, working across AWS, and mentoring junior developers as the team grew.

Outside of software, I've also owned and run Tito's Pizza in Tavistock, Ontario, for almost a decade alongside my software career.

I'm looking for my next software developer role, ideally somewhere that values someone who's seen a product from more than one side — building it, running it, and owning it.
